Today, on International Women’s Day, I find myself reflecting on the incredible women who have shaped my life, my passions, and this very business. Shopruthiette isn’t just a boutique- it’s a tribute to the strong, inspiring women who paved the way for me, and for all of us here.
A legacy of Strength & Style
As the oldest of three girls, I grew up surrounded by sisterhood. From a young age, I learned that women lift each other up, lead with resilience, and shape the world around them with grace. But my greatest inspirations have always been my grandmothers—Jamie Ruth and Eva Grace, the namesakes of Shopruthiette. Jamie Ruth instilled in me a love for fashion—not just as clothing, but as a way for women to express themselves, feel confident, and step into their best selves. And Eva Grace continues to be a shining example of strength and grace in my life. When I opened Shopruthiette in 2011, I wanted it to be more than just a place to shop. I wanted it to be a community—a space where women could come together, feel beautiful, and celebrate who they are.

At Shopruthiette, we are proudly women-owned and operated. Our team of 21 incredible women works tirelessly to bring our customers the best in fashion, but more than that, they create an environment where every woman who walks through our doors feels seen, valued, and empowered.
If you’ve ever visited our storefront, you may have noticed something special about our fitting rooms- each one is named after an important woman in my life. These names are a daily reminder that every woman has a story, and every story deserves to be honored.
